This Privacy Policy explains how PLAYBOOK Ltd ("PLAYBOOK," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information. This Privacy Policy applies to information about you that we collect and use when you visit or use the PLAYBOOK website, mobile application, or any other online or mobile service that connects to or otherwise presents you with this Privacy Policy. These products and services are referred to as the "Services" together.


Collected Information
We gather information about you using the methods outlined below. Please be aware that some sorts of information are required in order for us to provide the Services to you. You may no longer be able to access or use our Services if you do not supply us with such information or request that we delete it.

We collect a range of data that you supply to us directly. For instance, we obtain information from you by:

  • The services you use or the way your orders are processed
  • Requests or inquiries that you send us through online forms, email, or other means
  • Sweepstakes, contests, and surveys that you enter
  • Any comments you make about the Services should be written in the form of a review
  • Registration for an account and account management
  • Uploads to the Services or posts to the Services
  • Customer service and technical assistance requests

While some parts of the Services may not require you to provide any information that can be used to directly identify you by name (for example, if you choose to browse the website without logging in), the types of information we collect will be determined by the Services you use, how you use them, and the information you choose to provide. We collect the following types of information directly from you:

  • Email address
  • Your Name, if you choose to submit it
  • Log-in credentials, if you create an account in the Playbook App
  • Billing information, such as shipping address of a gift card recipient, credit or debit card number, verification number, zip code, and expiration date
  • Information about purchases or other transactions with us
  • Information about your customer service interactions with us
  • Demographic information such as your gender or other information you choose to provide as part of your profile at the Playbook App
  • User-generated content you provide to us, such as when you comment on content on the Services, respond to a survey request, review a class, or participate in the public forums
  • Classes you access
  • Any other information you choose to directly provide to us in connection with your use of the Services

We utilize the information you supply about the other person to fulfill the shipment if you prefer that your purchase be delivered to someone other than yourself (such as a gift recipient).

We collect certain information about you when you use our Services, as mentioned in this section. We and our service providers (third-party firms that work on our behalf) may use a range of technologies, such as cookies and similar techniques, to aid in the collection of this information, as explained further below.

Websites. We collect and analyze information such as your IP address, browser types, browser language, operating system, software and hardware attributes (including device IDs), referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, date and time of use, content watched, total minutes watched, error logs, and other similar information about how you use our website when you visit it.

Mobile Applications. When you use a PLAYBOOK mobile application or software ("app"), we automatically receive certain information about the mobile phone, tablet, or computer used to access the app, including device IDs, referring and exit pages and URLs, the number of clicks, pages viewed and the order of those pages, date and time of use, content watched, total minutes watched, error logs, and other similar information about how you use our app when you visit it.

Information on the location. When you use the Services, we and our service providers may automatically collect general location information from your computer or mobile device (e.g., IP address, city/state, and/or postal code associated with an IP address, city/state).

We may receive additional information such as demographic and statistical information from third parties, such as business partners, marketers, researchers, analysts, and other parties that we may attribute to you based on your assignment to certain statistical groups. We use this information to supplement the information that we collect directly from you in order to derive your possible interests and to provide more relevant experiences for you and improve our products, analytics, and advertising.Please go to their privacy policies and terms of service for a summary of how social networking sites manage your information, which may allow you to change your privacy settings. When you access content through the Services, you may have the option of posting your activities to Social Networking Services (for example, you may post to Facebook that you enrolled in a class on the Service); you acknowledge that if you use this feature, your friends, followers, and subscribers on any Social Networking Services you have enabled will be able to view such activity.

We may receive additional information such as demographic and statistical information from third parties, such as business partners, marketers, researchers, analysts, and other parties that we may attribute to you based on your assignment to certain statistical groups. We use this information to supplement the information that we collect directly from you in order to derive your possible interests and to provide more relevant experiences for you and improve our products, analytics, and advertising.

How Your Information is Used
Depending on the sorts of information we have acquired from and about you, we or our service providers use your information for a variety of purposes, including:

  • Complete a transaction or offer the services you've requested, including billing and bookkeeping.
  • Respond to your information request and give you better and more efficient customer service.
  • Provide you with information and updates regarding the classes you've enrolled in.
  • We may contact you via email, snail mail, or phone about Playbook and third-party products, services, surveys, research studies, promotions, special events, and other topics that we believe you might be interested in.

  • Secure our websites and apps, and fix app crashes and other issues that have been reported.Where it is necessary for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of others, we must follow any procedures, rules, and regulations that apply to us.
  • When it is required for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of others, we must establish, exercise, or defend our legal rights.

Information that has been put together in a new way. For the purposes specified in this Privacy Policy, we may combine the information we collect through the Services with information we get from other sources, including online and offline, and use the combined information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Data that has been aggregated or anonymized. Any information gathered through the Services may be aggregated and/or anonymized so that it can no longer be attributed to you or your device. We may use this information for any purpose, including but not limited to research and marketing, and we may share it with third parties such as advertisers, promotional partners, and sponsors.

Cookies and Similar Technologies
We and our service providers use Internet server logs, cookies, tracking pixels, and other similar tracking technologies to collect the information listed above in the "Information We Collect Through Automated Means" section. By learning and storing your specific browsing habits, we use these technologies to provide you with a more personalized experience in the future. Cookies are small text files that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website and allow us to: I recognize your computer; (ii) store your preferences and settings; (iii) understand the web pages of the Services you have visited; (iv) improve your user experience by delivering and measuring the effectiveness of content and advertising tailored to your interests; (v) perform searches and analytics; and (vi)Assist with administrative and security functions. Cookies connected with Flash technologies are stored with your Adobe Flash Player files, while others are stored in your browser cache.

We may potentially collect information through other methods when we adopt new technologies. Please keep in mind that you can alter your cookie settings to be notified when a cookie is set or modified, or to completely prevent cookies. Online Data Analytics and Advertising Analysis
On our Services, we may utilize third-party web analytics services (such as Google Analytics) to collect and analyze usage information via cookies and other similar techniques; conduct audits, research, or reporting; assist with fraud prevention; and provide certain features to you. If you get an email from us, we may use analytics technologies like clear GIFs to collect information such as when you open the message or click on any links or advertising included in the email. We can use this information to assess the success of our communications and marketing activities.

Third-party advertising technology may be integrated into the Services, allowing for the delivery of relevant content and advertising on the Services as well as on other websites and applications you use. The adverts may be based on the content of the page you are visiting, information you enter such as your age and gender, searches, demographic data, user-generated material, and other information we acquire from you. These adverts may be targeted to your interests and based on your present behavior or your activity over time and across other websites and online services.

Third parties may also use cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information about you on your computer, mobile phone, or other device, as described above. These third parties (for example, ad networks and ad servers like Google Analytics, DoubleClick, and others) may also serve tailored ads to you as you use the Internet and Internet-connected applications, and may access their own cookies or other tracking technologies on your computer, mobile phone, or other device you use to access the Services to assist in this activity.

We do not have access to, and this Privacy Policy does not govern, the use of cookies or other tracking technologies by non-affiliated third parties on your device used to access the Services. You can opt-out of receiving tailored advertising from companies that participate in the Network Advertising Initiative’s Consumer Opt-Out link, the Digital Advertising Alliance’s Consumer Opt-Out link, or Your Online Choices if you want more information about tailored browser advertising and how you can generally control cookies from being placed on your computer to deliver tailored advertising. Visit the Google Ads Settings page to opt out of Google Analytics for display advertising or to personalize Google display network ads. We have no influence over whether or not these opt-out links are used, or whether or not a certain firm chooses to participate in these opt-out initiatives. We are not liable for any decisions you make while using these methods, or for their continuous availability or correctness.

Please note that if you exercise the choices above, you will still see advertising when you use the Services, but it will not be tailored to you based on your online behavior over time.

Users can set Do Not Track ("DNT") as a privacy preference in various web browsers. We're committed to giving you meaningful choices regarding the information we collect on our website for third-party purposes, which is why we offer the opt-out mechanisms indicated above. How your Information is Shared
PLAYBOOK will share your information in the following ways:

Subsidiaries and affiliates. We may share the information we gather within the company in order to provide you with products and services, maintain a consistent level of service, and improve our products, services, and your overall customer experience.

Providers of services. Select third parties who execute services on our behalf have access to or share your information with us. They have access to execute these services, but they are not allowed to use your data for any other purpose. Billing, sales, marketing, product content and features, advertising, analytics, research, customer care, data storage, security, fraud prevention, payment processing, and legal services are among the services they provide to us.

Safeguard of PLAYBOOK and Others. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree that we may access, retain, and disclose the information we collect and maintain about you if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such access, retention, or disclosure is reasonably necessary to: (a) comply with legal process (e.g., a subpoena or court order); (b) enforce our Terms of Service, this Privacy Policy, or other contracts with you, including investigating potential violations thereof; (c) rescind our Terms of Service. This includes sharing data with other businesses and organizations for fraud prevention, spam/malware prevention, and other similar purposes.

Transferring a business. We may buy, merge, or partner with other businesses as we expand our business. User information may be among the transferred assets in such transactions (or in consideration of such transactions). Customer information (including your email address) would most likely be one of the transferred company assets if a portion or all of our assets were sold or transferred to a third party. We will comply with any additional obligatory limits imposed by applicable legislation if such a transfer is made.

Forums open to the public. Certain elements of our Services allow you to openly share comments with other users. Any information you provide through these services is not private, and we may use it for any reason (including in testimonials or other marketing materials). Any information you make public in these methods will be available to the general public and may be searchable by third-party search engines. As a result, please exercise caution when using these features.

Information that has been aggregated or anonymized. We may share Aggregate/Anonymous Information on how people use the Services from time to time, for example, by issuing a report on usage trends. The distribution of such information is unlimited.

Storage of Your Information
We only store your data for as long as it is required for the purposes for which it is processed. The amount of time we keep information is determined by the purposes for which it was gathered and utilized, as well as any legal requirements.

How Your Information Is Protected
To safeguard the information given through the Services from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, modification, or destruction, PLAYBOOK employs technical and organizational security measures. No Internet or email communication, however, is ever completely safe or error-free. Please bear this in mind when sending PLAYBOOK information via the Internet.

Third Party Links and Features
The Services include links to third-party websites, including social media sites, as well as third-party plug-ins (such as the Facebook "like" and Instagram "follow" buttons). If you use these sites or features, you may opt to reveal your information not only to those third-parties, but also to their users and the wider public, depending on how their services work. We have no control over the content or privacy policies of those websites or services. The privacy policies of third-party websites or services, not this Privacy Policy, shall govern the collection, use, and sharing of your information. We strongly advise you to review these third-privacy party's and security policies.

Children's Privacy
The Services are not designed for minors under the age of 13 and are not meant for them. If we discover that we have accidentally obtained "personal information" from children under the age of 13 without proper parental consent, we will erase it as soon as feasible. Without parental consent, we do not process data of EU residents under the age of 16. If we learn that we have gathered data without parental consent from an EU resident under the age of 16, we will take reasonable steps to erase it as quickly as practicable. Other age limitations and regulations are also adhered to in accordance with applicable local laws.

You may have certain rights to your information depending on your jurisdiction of residency, as stated further in this section.

Please keep in mind that, regardless of your request, we may continue to use and share certain information as allowed by law. You can't opt out of certain operational emails, such those about our connection or transactions with you, or crucial notifications about classes in which you're enrolled.

Use of Your Information (Legal Bases)
The legal bases for using your information as set out in this Privacy Policy are as follows:

  • When we need to use your information to fulfill our contractual duties to you (for example, to comply with our websites' terms of service, which you acknowledge by browsing/registering; and/or our contract to deliver our Services to you);
  • Where it is necessary to use your information for our or others' legitimate interests (for example, to provide security for our website and applications; operate our business and our Services; make and receive payments; comply with legal requirements and defend our legal rights; prevent fraud; and identify the customer to whom we are providing Services);

International Transfer and Privacy Shield
The information discussed in this Policy is processed in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Any Amendments to Our Privacy Policy
