PLAYBOOK is a private membership, learning and professional network. Our Services include member profiles, community features, learning content, events, workshops, mentorship, business and career opportunities, introductions, matching, paid memberships and AI-assisted features.
This Privacy Policy applies to users of the Services wherever they are located, subject to the privacy and data-protection laws that apply in their jurisdiction.

PLAYBOOK is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for children under 18. If we become aware that personal data has been collected from a person who is not eligible to use the Services, we will take appropriate steps to delete or restrict that information.
We collect personal data that is reasonably necessary to provide, secure, personalize and improve the Services, administer your membership, communicate with you, and comply with applicable law.
Layla conversation records are automatically deleted after 30 days, subject to limited legal, security or technical exceptions where applicable.
We may collect transaction information such as payment amounts, invoice numbers and subscription status. Payment card details are processed directly by the relevant payment provider, including Stripe where applicable, and are not stored in the PLAYBOOK app.

If you submit, upload, post or share photos, videos, testimonials, quotes, profile content, posts, comments or other member-generated content through PLAYBOOK, we may use that content in accordance with the licence you grant us under the PLAYBOOK Terms & Conditions. This can include external use on PLAYBOOK websites, social media, emails, advertisements, presentations, press and media materials, event promotion, partner materials, reports, case studies and other marketing or community communications.
We may also use member content and interactions with the Services internally to understand member needs and engagement, generate insights, conduct analytics and research, improve products and features, develop new experiences, improve matching and recommendations, and evaluate community programming. Where reasonably possible, we may use aggregated or de-identified information for these internal purposes.
We do not sell member-generated content as a standalone product. If you ask us to stop using a specific item of your content in future external marketing, we will take reasonable steps to stop new promotional use where practicable, subject to materials that have already been published, distributed or incorporated into completed campaigns and to any rights or obligations that continue under applicable law.
Layla is an AI-assisted feature designed to help members discover relevant information, content, people, events and opportunities. AI-generated responses may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date and should not be treated as professional advice or a guarantee of any outcome.
Depending on the feature you use, Layla may use your prompt together with relevant profile information, preferences, learning activity, event activity, mentorship interests or opportunity interests. We aim to minimize the amount of personal data used for AI processing and do not intentionally provide payment-card details or other information that is unnecessary to answer your request.
PLAYBOOK may use third-party AI providers to operate Layla. These providers process relevant information only as needed to provide the AI functionality and subject to appropriate contractual, technical and organizational safeguards.
PLAYBOOK does not sell private Layla conversations.
Authorized PLAYBOOK personnel may access a limited set of Layla interactions where reasonably necessary for support, safety, debugging, legal compliance or quality review.
PLAYBOOK may use your profile, preferences and activity to recommend members, mentors, events, learning content, opportunities and introductions. These suggestions are intended to support discovery and do not constitute endorsements, vetting or guarantees.
You remain responsible for deciding whether to act on a recommendation or enter into a relationship, transaction, mentorship, investment, employment or business arrangement.
We do not intend to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects solely by automated means unless we specifically tell you and provide the safeguards required by applicable law.
PLAYBOOK's core application infrastructure is hosted on Google Cloud in the me-central2 region in Saudi Arabia.
Some third-party service providers may process limited personal data in other jurisdictions where necessary to provide their services. Where personal data is transferred internationally, PLAYBOOK applies the safeguards required by applicable data-protection law.
PLAYBOOK uses trusted third-party service providers to operate and support the Services, including providers of cloud hosting, artificial intelligence, communications, authentication, payments, accounting, customer relationship management, analytics and other technical services.
These providers receive only the personal data reasonably necessary to perform the relevant service and are required to handle that data in accordance with applicable contractual and legal obligations.
Where we use third-party artificial intelligence providers, relevant information may be processed by those providers to deliver AI-assisted features such as Layla and matching. We do not sell personal data to our service providers.
PLAYBOOK is based in the Kingdom of Bahrain and provides Services to members across multiple countries.

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer your membership, meet legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and enforce our agreements.
Layla conversation records are automatically deleted after 30 days.
Other data may be retained for longer where necessary for membership administration, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, security, legal claims or other lawful purposes. When information is no longer required, we delete, anonymize or securely isolate it in accordance with our retention practices.
You may request deletion of your PLAYBOOK account through the account settings available in the app or by contacting privacy@get-playbook.com.
Deleting the PLAYBOOK app from your device does not delete your account.
When a valid deletion request is received, we will close the account and delete or anonymize associated personal data from active systems, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain records for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security or dispute-resolution purposes.
If your membership is billed through Apple or Google, deleting your PLAYBOOK account does not automatically cancel the store subscription. You must manage cancellation through your Apple or Google account.
Our website may use cookies, pixels, local storage and similar technologies. Our mobile app may use SDKs, app identifiers, analytics tools, crash-reporting tools, push-notification tokens and similar technologies to authenticate users, secure the Services, remember preferences, measure performance and diagnose technical issues.
Where consent is required for optional tracking or analytics technologies, we will request it through the relevant website, app or operating-system controls.
We may send marketing communications where permitted by law. You can opt out of marketing emails using the unsubscribe link or available communication preferences.
We may still send service, security, transaction, membership and account communications that are necessary to operate the Services.
We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss or destruction. These measures include appropriate access controls, authentication, logging, encryption where appropriate, secure development practices, vendor controls and incident-response processes.
