Starting as a banker before heading into the restaurant business Roaya Saleh is a global entrepreneur. She opened the first branch of Villa Mamas in Bahrain in 2011, which became a global brand with branches in London, Abu Dhabi, and Saudi Arabia. In 2019 she was awarded the Bahrain Award for Entrepreneurship for Global Enterprise of the Year and she was named in Carter’s 2022 Saudi F&B heroes who are transforming the Saudi F&B sector.
